Gerry Crilly

I began my legal career with a West End firm of Solicitors where I worked as a legal executive for 10 years dealing with a mixture of civil and criminal litigation. I studied on a part-time basis first to qualify as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives before going on to qualify as a Solicitor in 2000.

I then joined another West End firm in 2001 and worked as a Housing Solicitor dealing mainly with High Court and County Court litigation. With Peter Johnson I set up Johnson Crilly Solicitors LLP.

I deal with all aspects of Civil Litigation.

I particularly specialise in residential landlord and tenant law and I advise and represent landlords and tenants in Court Proceedings for possession, disrepair and illegal/unlawful eviction.

I also specialise in advising employers and employees regarding employment law issues including statutory grievance and disciplinary procedures and I represent employers and employees in proceedings before Employment Tribunals. My practice also includes advising in relation to divorce and relationship breakdown including representation in Court Proceedings for Injunctions for Residence and Contact Orders under the Children Act 1989.

I also advise and represent parents in relation to school admission appeals, refusals to offer places, and appeals against exclusions from schools
